SKATEBOARDING LESSONS

in Melbourne’s Northern Suburbs

Skate Up offers group classes and tailored one-to-one skateboarding lessons for children and adults in skateparks in Fitzroy, Brunswick, Northcote, Clifton Hill, Coburg, Reservoir, Keilor East, Glenroy and Prahran. We always skate in public skateparks so you’ll become part of the skateboarding community and confident heading out on your own later. Group lessons start from $35 per person, and private sessions from $80. Please contact us on Instagram for gift vouchers.

Skateboarding is an extreme sport and protecting your safety is our top priority. All skaters must wear a helmet throughout the skateboarding lesson. Please read and sign our Agreement and Waiver before your lesson.

Get to know your board and gain confidence balancing, pushing, and flat dropping

BEGINNER

Start rolling on ramps, tip-tapping, and learn your first tricks (underflip, acid drop)

INTERMEDIATE

Master more advanced tricks like ramp drops, ollies, and shove-it (front and back side)

Hi there, I’m Arturo, and skateboarding has been a lifelong passion. I started at 11 years old, was a professional street skateboarder back in the ’90s, and I still love learning new tricks to this day. Skateboarding is more than a sport – it’s about perseverance, commitment, bringing people together and, of course, fun! Whether you’re just getting started, returning to the board, or on your way to being a pro, I can’t wait to be a part of your skateboarding journey.
